Freedom Ruck is the passion project of Vic Wise and Valerie Reynolds.
Every January, Vic makes a 100 mile trek from the Virginia War Memorial in Richmond, VA to Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
This trek, or preferably referred to as a "ruck" is a fundraising event with the Navy Seal Foundation as the benefactor.
In addition, the ruck is also Vic's way to express his gratitude to the servicemen and servicewomen in the armed forces. Every generation of Vic's family has been represented in the military since the Civil War, most recently: his brother and his father.
