Leading Social Media (Under Construction)
Prior to my arrival at Serve the People, their digital presence was ad hoc: posts were created spontaneously to meet the speculations of a grant from CalOptima.
Serve the People is the third organization where I've been the first full-time social media employee. After seven years of learning how to establish a presence that could evolve with the organization, I stepped into the digital unknown and built a world I'm so proud to inhabit today.
Remember Our History: Highlight Trailblazers, Innovators, and Leaders Across Intersections
Some of the work I'm proudest of in my career is retelling intersectional history for different audiences. Now more than ever, ensuring that we share the light those who came before us is so important.
This series championed the work of the LGBTQIA community, the Black and African-American community, the AANHPI community, the Hispanic and Latinx Community, as well as celebrated the medical contributions of women.

STP TV News
What if your organic content could serve as its own press release in lieu of traditional pitching? If the news station isn't real, but the organic engagement from outside your follower base is, does that make up the difference in exposure?
That was the thinking behind STP TV News. This format is transferable to different projects, providing the same surprise-and-delight, breaking-the-fourth-wall approach that makes the videos not only engaging, but helps make information digestible.
Everyday Extraordinary
I'm a big believer in giving folks their flowers as often as possible. After I saw a post celebrating Black trailblazers from the NAACP earlier this year, I wanted to pay homage and replicate the idea on a smaller scale.
Each day, we see our team go above and beyond for our patients, doing all they can to improve their health and lives. To celebrate their incredible work and find a more public way to celebrate, I wanted to introduce our audiences to our teammates who move mountains for our community.

Looking Back on a Banner Year: A Snackable Annual Report
At the beginning of the year, I was tasked with creating an abridged Annual Report that explore our biggest wins of the 2024. As it was the first year with consistent growth in the organization's history, the impact needed to be distilled. In this abridged version, you'll see highlights that were used on social media, as well as zine-style print outs for Board Members and external stakeholders.

A Song for Serve the People
Nonprofits don't usually have anthems...but what if they did? What would the lyrics convey? Can you marry a jingle with a full-length song that captures the culture and mission of your organization?
I would argue that an organization can absolutely have an anthem, so I made one using Suno AI.
This Land is
In a moment where our immigrant communities in Southern California are under attack, we felt the pull towards sharing OUR version of America.
In our version of America, immigrants make us great. Their perspectives make us stronger and more resilient. As a staff, we decided to celebrate our diverse backgrounds and origins.
